TNT SPORTS: ALL THE BIG COMPETITIONS IN ONE PLACE FOR THE 2025-206 SEASON

Football is back and TNT Sports is the only place to watch every big competition with over 700 matches broadcast live from elite European club football to English domestic league and cup competitions this season.
THE PREMIER LEAGUE AND UEFA CLUB COMPETITIONS RETURN
The FA Community Shield and UEFA European Super Cup kick off the football season on TNT Sports before the first of 52 Premier League matches this Saturday with Aston Villa entertaining Newcastle United at Villa Park with Tottenham Hotspur’s visit to the Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City the following week.
As announced by the Premier League earlier this month as part of its enhanced matchday access initiative as a brand new rights cycle commences, TNT Sports will work closely with its member clubs throughout the season via a series of broadcast innovations to help bring fans closer to their teams. Dressing room cameras (building on those employed by TNT Sports in some matchday broadcasts over the past two seasons), half-time interviews with players and managers and in-match interviews will become a staple of its live football coverage from this season.
Meanwhile, matchday one of UEFA’s premier club competition – the UEFA Champions League – starts on the week of 16 September as 36 sides embark on the Road to Budapest, with the league phase of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League beginning a week later. TNT Sports will show a total of 529 European matches on its channels and platforms over the course of the season.
Scott Young EVP WBD Sports Europe said: “This football season we are kicking off with more football than ever before with the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa Leage, UEFA Conference League and new this season the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup all in one place, an extraordinary line up of trophies will be celebrated on TNT Sports.
“Our football coverage continues to evolve. We will continue to bring new storytellers, insight and angles to fans, with even more access across our Premier League and FA Cup coverage we are also delighted to be able to bring more dressing room, pitch and player content than ever before.”
A NEW ERA FOR THE MEN’S AND WOMEN’S FA CUP ON TNT SPORTS
In addition to live Premier League and UEFA club competition coverage, for the first time TNT Sports will broadcast the Emirates FA Cup and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, meaning fans will be able to watch more football from both competitions than ever before.
TNT Sports is working with the Football Association on consistent appointment to view time slots for each round of televised matches and draws.
The stories behind the FA Cup are what make the competition like no other. The People’s Story: The FA Cup, a new documentary commissioned by TNT Sports, will uncover the triumphs, heartbreaks, and untold stories of the iconic tournament, revealing how it became a stage where sport and society collide, capturing the spirit of a nation through the beautiful game.
The 90-minute documentary, set to air ahead of the men’s FA Cup 3rd Round in January 2026, will tell the stories of Everton’s Mike Trebilcock, Sunderland’s 1973 FA Cup triumph, the emotional 1989 FA Cup Final between Liverpool and Everton, Paul Gascoigne’s memorable contribution to Tottenham’s 1991 FA Cup victory and the inside story behind Crystal Palace’s run to the 2025 FA Cup Final that saw the club win the first piece of silverware in their 164-year history.
NEW FACES FOR A NEW SEASON ON TNT SPORTS
In addition to its regular line-up, after providing expert analysis for May’s Europa League Final in Bilbao, five-time Champions League winner Gareth Bale and former West Ham striker Michail Antonio will be joining the team for TNT Sports’ domestic and European football coverage this season.
Experienced broadcaster and former Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and England defender Anita Asante, former team mate, Arsenal and England midfielder Fara Williams and former Arsenal, Manchester City and Scotland defender Jen Beattie will be joining the team to work across its football output including the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

To drive awareness around the impact of the grassroots community football teams, TNT Sports has commissioned and is currently producing a documentary which will tell the story of Grenfell Athletic, entitled Beacon of Hope: The Grenfell Athletic Story, charting its inspiring journey and the positive impact the teams have had on the community and individuals within it. Following the story of the people behind the club, the men’s football team and showcasing the women’s football team in full for the first time, the documentary will air on TNT Sports at the end of 2025.
