VICKY ADALBERT, VICE PRESIDENT LEGAL
Vicky Adalbert leads Eurosport’s legal department and is an experienced media and litigation lawyer.
She is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal, compliance and litigation matters. She leads all legal efforts supporting the company’s main activities such as sports rights acquisitions, distribution, advertising sales, digital services and organisation of sporting events.
Vicky joined Eurosport in 2014, after 13 years in private practice leading the media and telecoms departments of the highly recognised law firm based in Paris, Vogel & Vogel. She was in charge of strategic antitrust, commercial, regulatory and litigation matters for clients such as TF1, NBC Universal and Bouygues Telecom.
She participated in some of the most important cases in her areas of expertise over the last decade - French and European competition and distribution law (e.g. battles over the rights for the French Football Championships Ligue 1 / Ligue 2; merger of the two main French pay TV operators CanalSat/TPS; defence of pay TV exclusive distribution agreements; complaint against Apple/Orange exclusive agreement for iPhone’s sales).
Vicky has a Masters degree in International Business Law from La Sorbonne University, a Master degree in European business law from Paris II Assas University, a Master degree in law, economy and media administration (strategy & management) from La Sorbonne University, and passed the Paris Bar exam.
Born in Le Mans, France, Vicky spent some time in the United States during her studies and did internships in US law firms. She graduated from the Conservatoire in ballet and enjoys yoga and meditation.
