US OPEN TENNIS COMES TO MILLIONS OF VIEWERS ACROSS EUROPE ON EUROSPORT AND HBO MAX
• Every match on every court at the 2026 US Open will stream live across 45 markets* in Europe on HBO Max with far reaching coverage on Eurosport
• Action gets underway with Qualifiers and Mixed Doubles Championship from 24 August
• Coverage of the year’s final Grand Slam follows record-breaking pan-European tennis audiences for WBD this summer
The electric atmosphere on the iconic blue courts at Flushing Meadows, New York will be brought to millions of fans this summer through Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD)’s all-encompassing coverage of the 2026 US Open.
WBD will work in partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), taking on the host broadcast of the tournament for the first time, to scale world-class coverage of every match on every court featuring more than 400 of the world’s best players to fans watching on HBO Max across Europe*.
Supported by innovative in-app features such as Key Moments, curated by tennis experts and helping users to seamlessly navigate to pivotal moments in play, and Multiview, which displays up to four matches at once, HBO Max will provide a modern and interactive viewing experience to fully immerse fans in the year’s final Grand Slam.
Reaching the widest possible audience in 45 markets, Eurosport will also showcase broad US Open coverage on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 featuring 265 hours of live action. Its free web, app and digital platforms will also serve up additional news, views, interviews, analysis and storytelling throughout the tournament.

Eurosport’s revered line-up of tennis experts returns to guide fans through the action every day from the main draw stage. Multiple Grand Slam champions John McEnroe, Mats Wilander and Justine Henin are joined by former British No.1 Johanna Konta, and presenter Lesly Boitrelle to host Courtside broadcasts from Arthur Ashe Stadium and Louis Armstrong Stadium from 16.30 CEST each day (17.00 in week two).
They will bring viewers closer to the atmosphere, culture and personalities that make the US Open one of the most unique and celebrated events in global sport. This year's tournament is set against a backdrop of captivating storylines.
Tennis icon Serena Williams is expected to return to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows for the first time in four years after her Grand Slam comeback at Wimbledon. Meanwhile, the back-to-back women’s singles champion and world number one Aryna Sabalenka will be the hot favourite for the title again this year. They will have to battle past intense competition from rising Filippino star Alexandra Eala, Poland’s Roland-Garros finalist Maja Chwalińska, Czech Grand Slam winners Karolina Muchová and Linda Nosková, and other previous US Open winners including Iga Świątek, Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff.
In the men’s draw, defending men’s singles champion Carlos Alcaraz faces a race against time to get back to the sport's biggest stage following his long-term wrist injury while challenges for the title will come from by world number one Jannik Sinner; Roland-Garros champion Alexander Zverev; record 24-time Grand Slam legend Novak Djokovic and an emerging generation of prodigal talents such as Joao Fonseca, Rafael Jodar, Jakub Menšík, Arthur Fils, Ben Shelton and Learner Tien.
Adding further star power, legendary 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will be honoured through a special celebration following his induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, including dedicated programming and exclusive content for viewers across Europe on HBO Max.
HBO Max’s coverage of the US Open begins on 24 August with the first live qualifying matches. A blockbuster line-up has been assembled for the Mixed Doubles Championship, which moved to Fan Week for the first time last year and has a $1 million prize pot for the winning team. Star-studded pairings include Aryna Sabalenka & Novak Djokovic; Iga Swiatek & Casper Ruud; Taylor Townsend & Alexander Zverev among others.
Eurosport’s coverage begins with the first Singles main draw match from Sunday 30 August. Coverage of the US Open follows WBD’s biggest Roland-Garros** ever this summer with +20% more hours of streamed on HBO Max compared to 2025 alongside record-breaking audiences on Eurosport in Germany, Italy and Poland. WBD’s coverage of the US Open concludes its coverage of every Grand Slam*** and comes ahead of its coverage of the Laver Cup taking place in London from 25-27 September.
