PADEL IN THE UK
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in Britain, with one million people in the UK actively playing, according to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The sport has experienced unprecedented growth in the UK, where participation has grown from just 15,000 players in 2019 to more than one million in 2026, supported by more than 1,800 courts across over 550 clubs, according to the latest data from the LTA (May 2026).
By securing coverage on TNT Sports and HBO Max, the sport is further elevated and joins other elite racquet competitions shown by the broadcaster, including every tennis match at the Australian Open, Roland-Garros and Laver Cup, as well as all tennis, badminton and squash events from the upcoming Olympic Games LA28.
