TOM KRISTENSEN TAKES POLE POSITION FOR EUROSPORT’S EXTENSIVE COVERAGE OF 24 HOURS OF LE MANS
Eurosport has today announced that motorsport legend Tom Kristensen will be its exclusive on-air expert during its unrivalled coverage of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race next week, across Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The Danish champion, known as “Mister Le Mans” due to his extraordinary record of nine race victories, will join Eurosport presenter Neil Cole, in a daily on-site show, “Le Mans 24 Minutes” which will bring fans all the news form the pits and the paddock.
Broadcast from Monday June 13, “Le Mans 24 Minutes” will fuel the passion of fans in the week ahead of the legendary race. Eurosport will broadcast live the free practice on Wednesday 15, the qualifying practice on Thursday 16, the warm-up and support race on Saturday morning and every minute of 24 Hours of Le Mans during the weekend.
“Le Mans 24 Minutes” will feature special guests as well as the latest news, interviews and reports from the track. Kristensen’s unrivalled experience and understanding of the race will allow fans a better-than-ever glimpse into the human and technical demands to participate in motorsports most prestigious endurance race.
