THE ULTIMATE HOME OF CYCLING UNVEILS ITS IMMENSE COVERAGE OFFER AHEAD OF THE 2025 SEASON

  • More than 1,000 live cycling broadcasts and 2,500 hours of racing including 100% of the men’s and women’s UCI World Tour streaming on Max and discovery+ across Europe 

  • TNT Sports becomes the home of cycling in the UK and Ireland and launches a nationwide grassroots initiative to inspire the next generation of young riders

New champions will be crowned, new stories will be told, and a new ultimate home of cycling is gearing up to stage more live races this season than ever before.  

 

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe today unwraps its bumper cycling package for fans ahead of the 2025 season. Collectively engaging more than 100 million cycling fans in Europe across all platforms, in 2025 it will deliver 3,900 hours of content including 2,500 hours of live action from the world’s biggest races. 

 

As the Home of Cycling, WBD’s immense racing proposition brings together every race on the men’s and women’s UCI World Tour in one place for the first time, alongside the Grand Tours, the Classics, the UCI World Championships across all disciplines, the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series and much more. 

 

From 28 February, TNT Sports becomes the new ultimate home of cycling for fans in the UK and Ireland as the entire portfolio of Eurosport’s live and non-live content including cycling integrates to TNT Sports’ channels and platforms, forming an even more enthralling offer for sports fans. Combining live cycling with other premium sports such as football, rugby, cricket, tennis, snooker, motorsport and more, TNT Sports and its streaming home discovery+ will offer a single destination for the world’s greatest events and athletes  

 

In 50 markets across Europe, Eurosport will continue to bring its celebrated cycling expertise and heritage of screening the world’s greatest races for 37 years to viewers through localised productions, with streaming of all the action on Max and discovery+*, and US fans also able to enjoy live race coverage on Max.

QUEST FOR NEW CYCLING STORIES SEES ULTIMATE CYCLING SHOW PREMIERE IN THE UK 

 

New for the 2025 season, a weekly magazine programme titled The Ultimate Cycling Show will be available to watch for free on Quest in the UK and Ireland. Presented by the expert cycling duo of Orla Chennaoui and Adam Blythe, and featuring regular guests, the first episode airs on 27 February at 22:00 GMT with 15 episodes planned throughout the season. 

 

Every story will be chased down and showcased for viewers like never before with the show set to cover all aspects of racing. From the peloton’s painstaking Grand Tour preparations to portraits of the world’s greatest riders, and recons of iconic routes narrated by former world-beaters, from Flanders’ cobbles to alpine peaks, fans will be treated to a feast of features throughout the season. 

 

LEGENDARY LINE-UP OF CYCLING STARS CONNECT COVERAGE TO CYCLING COMMUNITIES 

 

With more former cycling champions than any other broadcaster, WBD Sports Europe has assembled an unbeatable and locally relevant on-air presentation team to connect viewers in its territories with the amazing array of relentless races and remarkable riders. They will narrate the stories that will be told throughout the season, both on-site at the biggest races and at cutting-edge studios in selected territories. These include presentation of the most immersive pre and post-race analysis shows in the UK (The Breakaway), Spain (La Montonera), France (Les Rois de la Pédales) and Germany (Vélo Club).   

 

NEW ORIGINAL CONTENT INCLUDES DARING DOCUMENTARY ON DANISH WORLD CHAMPION 

 

Through its commitment to content and storytelling, a new and original docuseries titled Mads Pedersen – Fear Nothing is set to premiere across WBD’s channels and platforms. Four hour-long episodes story the journey of the 2019 UCI World Road Race Champion from the Lidl-Trek team in his ongoing quest to achieve one of professional cycling’s greatest feats by winning a Monument. 

 

Produced by Eurosport Denmark, the fly-on-the-wall series provides unique access into Pedersen’s life on and off the bike with unique contributions from the Dane, his Lidl-Trek teammates and family to provide viewers with an inside look at the mind of a champion. The first episode premieres across Europe at 16:15 GMT on 15 March on Eurosport 2 and Max or discovery+, and TNT Sports 3 and discovery+ in the UK and Ireland. 

 

In tandem, mountain bike fanatics will be treated to a new eight-part series that explores the sport’s iconic brands and cutting edge-tech through the eyes of its visionary founders. Race Bikes premieres this summer and combines the competitive edge of mountain bike with the camaraderie and passion for the sport to interview the creators, engineering pioneers and athletes who have created history by designing, and racing on, the world’s fastest off-road bikes. 

 

TNT SPORTS SET TO LAUNCH NEW GRASSROOTS INITIATIVE

Devoted to serving the cycling community by investing in the sport and growing its fanbase, TNT Sports is launching a new grassroots initiative ahead of the 2025 season to inspire the next generation of riders. The new Just Ride scheme aims to unite the vibrant domestic cycling community by inspiring young riders and their families to embrace cycling to get out on their bikes.

TNT Sports aims to empower cycling communities across the UK by providing a platform to promote their clubs, event riders and healthy living. It will offer a cash prize for cycling tribes who can demonstrate their passion for the sport by submitting their videos through a new nationwide competition, with shortlisted entries set to be broadcast on TNT Sports and Quest. Submissions are set to open this spring ahead of the winning entry being announced on the final day of the UCI Road World Championships on 28 September. POWERING THE STREAMING REVOLUTION 

Live cycling is a key part of WBD’s unbeatable sports portfolio in Europe and the US, powered by the most engaging experience on Max, WBD’s enhanced streaming service. Warner Bros. Discovery recently reaffirmed its position as the Home of Cycling by extending its rights to show the world’s greatest races including the Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes, La Vuelta a España, La Vuelta a España Femenina and the Classics until at least 2030. The new agreement sees WBD gain exclusive access to the Tour de France in the UK and Ireland while continuing to be the only place to screen every minute of every Grand Tour and the Classics across Europe.
