‘THE TOPURIAS’ arrives on HBO Max and TNT Sports in June. Two-time UFC world champion Ilia Topuria, his family and his inner circle star in this new original production, which invites viewers to follow the Georgian Spanish fighter’s journey from winning his first featherweight world title to the present day, as he prepares to headline the main event at the biggest fight in UFC history on 14 June at the White House, broadcast exclusively live on TNT Sports.

Produced by Señor Mono for HBO Max, the new documentary series LOS TOPURIA consists of three 50-minute episodes available this June.

An idol to millions of MMA fans of all ages, genders and nationalities, in less than two years, Ilia Topuria has won two UFC world championships – the world’s biggest MMA event – in two different weight classes, a feat achieved by very few. But what lies behind Ilia Topuria’s success? What are the stories of sacrifice we don’t know? Who are the people who have accompanied him on his journey to the very top of sport, and what are their lives like?

‘THE TOPURIAS’ reveals what we don’t see of the day-to-day life of the Georgian Spanish mixed martial arts (MMA) champion, whilst offering unprecedented access to the personal lives of the Topuria family and their closest circle.

The documentary traces Ilia Topuria’s journey from winning his first featherweight world title in October 2024, through his preparations to claim the UFC lightweight world title in June 2025 and culminates in his preparations to return to the Octagon a year later at the biggest event in UFC history to date. In the early hours of 14–15 June, Ilia Topuria will make history by headlining the UFC FREEDOM 250 bout at the White House to defend his UFC lightweight world title. TNT Sports will broadcast live and exclusive coverage of the eagerly awaited event in which El Matador will seek to add to his legend in the UFC.

 
Viewers will be able to follow this path to glory, filled with sacrifice, effort and discipline, on which Topuria has been surrounded and supported at every step by the pillars of his life: his family, his closest friends and his team of fitness trainers.

Throughout the series, THE TOPURIAS’ allows the audience to get closer to the more personal side of this sporting legend, both inside and outside the UFC octagon, revealing his reality as a father, son, brother, friend and entrepreneur through the eyes of those closest to him.
