OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS RETURN AS WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY BROADCASTS EVERY MOMENT OF THE 2024 UCI TRACK CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

• Olympic and World Champions return for the fourth season of the UCI Track Champions League commencing this weekend in the Olympic velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines
• WBD will produce coverage of all five rounds, broadcasted live on Eurosport, Max, and discovery+*
• Cycling experts Adam Blythe and Joanna Rowsell to front WBD’s pre- and post-show coverage

The UCI Track Champions League returns this weekend – with every moment from every race from each of the five rounds broadcast live on Warner Bros. Discovery platforms in Europe, across Eurosport and its streaming platforms Max and discovery+*. 

Throughout the series, which starts this weekend in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines – just outside of Paris -Eurosport will air a pre and post-show that will be broadcast across Europe, including in-depth analysis of the action as well as exclusive interviews with some of the competing riders. Former professional cyclist Adam Blythe and double Olympic champion Joanna Rowsell will offer trackside coverage of the action from each round with Rob Hatch leading commentary.

Fans enjoying coverage on discovery+ and Max* will be able to follow every pedal press, lap, and plot twist. In use at each venue will be one cable cam, four onboard rider perspectives, 12 track cameras and one derny for the Keirin, providing viewers with unique access to angles and moments that are typically off-limits. Viewers will also have the chance to utilise the timeline marker feature to easily skip back to unmissable moments throughout the night.

Superstars of the velodrome including Harrie Lavreysen (Netherlands), Ellesse Andrews (New Zealand), Emma Finucane (Great Britain), Katie Archibald (Great Britain) and Matthew Richardson (Great Britain), return to the track for the fourth season of the UCI Track Champions League meaning viewers across the continent will be able to sit back and enjoy a star-studded roster of Olympic and World champions fans go wheel-to-wheel.

After a thrilling Olympic Games, 72 of the world’s best male and female riders are ready for more intense battles beginning in the Olympic Velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France on Saturday 23 November. 2 27 countries will be represented on the Sprint roster, featuring a staggering six Olympic, five UCI World Champions and six Continental champions. The Endurance League will be made up of an equally impressive five 2024 UCI World Champions, three Paris 2024 Olympic medallists and three current Continental champions from 19 different countries, making this one of the highest-level competitions in track cycling.

The world-class roster, technology-driven live show, global broadcast strategy and immersive fan experience ensured the 2023 UCI Track Champions League was the most successful yet. Along with the millions of viewers watching at home, a record 19,600 spectators filled the velodromes to witness the racing live, including two sold-out nights in London. After five thrilling rounds, Ellesse Andrews (New Zealand), Katie Archibald (Great Britain), Dylan Bibic (Canada) and Harrie Lavreysen (Netherlands) were crowned overall champions.
