NEXT-GEN DRONES SET FOR TAKE OFF ON EUROSPORT FOLLOWING NEW DR1 RACING DEAL
Fans across Europe will once again be able to follow the world’s premier drone racing series on Eurosport this year, following the renewal of its exclusive multi-platform broadcast partnership with DR1 Racing.
Europe’s number one sports destination retains the exclusive broadcast rights on linear, digital and social platforms and will be looking to repeat last year’s success, where the DHL Champions Series finals was the most watched drone racing event in the world.
For the upcoming season, DR1 Racing has unveiled a new Pro Class racing drone, adding more excitement for fans and spectators. Measuring over four times larger than previous drones, the giant Pro Class machines will be more visible and allow fans to follow the action better than ever before as they reach speeds over 100 miles per hour in just over a second.
The series will embark on five new racing locations, culminating in a finale to take place at the Post Tower in Bonn, Germany. Other iconic new locations include La Mothe-Chandeniers in France, Krvavec Alpine and Castle Sneznik in Slovenia and Tulove Grede in Croatia.
