For the next four years, Eurosport will bring fans closer to the game than ever before on Friday nights, broadcasting 45 Bundesliga matches per season. Through the Eurosport Player App, fans will be able to watch games at home, on connected TVs, online and on the move via their mobile device ensuring, when it matters, they never miss a moment of the action.

Fronted by German football icon, Matthias Sammer, the Eurosport Player App will offer fans the greatest talent line up around, guaranteeing unrivalled analysis and insight into the world of Bundesliga football.

Alongside Sammer, Jan Henkel will anchor Eurosport’s live coverage, award-winning duo Marco Hagemann and Matthias Stach will be lead commentators and Bundesliga experts Christian Ortlepp and Wolfgang Nadvornik will offer a fresh and direct perspective on the game in their role as reporters for Eurosport.

In addition to the live Friday Night fixtures, Eurosport will produce a weekly show, called THANK GOD IT‘S MATCHDAY! – or #TGIM for short. The show will harness the excitement of fans in the build up to the weekend fixtures with interactive segments and previews, ensuring Eurosport kick off the Bundesliga weekend in style.
