MASTERS TOURNAMENT COMES TO NORWAY, POLAND AND RUSSIA FOLLOWING NEW DISCOVERY AND GOLFTV PARTNERSHIP
NEW YORK and LONDON, April 5, 2019 – One of the most iconic and revered events in golf, the Masters Tournament, will be presented in Norway, Poland and Russia on GOLFTV following a new agreement announced today. The partnership signals the first men’s Major to be available anywhere on GOLFTV, strengthening a portfolio in Norway, Poland and Russia that features many of the sport’s most exciting moments, superstar players and tournaments each week.
GOLFTV – the live and on-demand video streaming service for golf fans around the world – will offer exclusive live coverage of the Masters Tournament in Norway, Poland and Russia, including:
• All four Tournament rounds (Thursday 11th April – Sunday 14th April 2019)
• Daily Feature Groups and Feature Holes live, including the iconic Amen Corner
• The pre-Tournament Par 3 Contest (Wednesday 10th April 2019)
In addition, television coverage will be available in Norway and Poland on Eurosport, Discovery’s leading sports channel.
In a move to further grow the reach and engagement around the Masters Tournament in Europe, GOLFTV will also present a dedicated highlights programme in markets across the continent. The post-Tournament review, scheduled this year on Tuesday 16th April 2019*, will recount the most special moments from the Tournament and celebrate the latest Masters champion and recipient of one of the most coveted prizes in golf: the Green Jacket.
