The UCI Gravel World Series race takes place on Saturday 10 May in the iconic riding region of Valkenburg, the Netherlands. The route incorporates sections of the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championship course with the top 25% of finishers qualifying for the 2026 World Championship.
The live broadcast marks another milestone for Marly Grav, which was voted best event by participants following the 2025 UCI Gravel World Series season—a strong endorsement of the race’s organisation, atmosphere and demanding course.
WBD is the home of cycling in Europe and shows more live races in one place than any other broadcaster. Marly Grav joins WBD’s comprehensive live cycling portfolio which includes the men’s and women’s UCI World Tour including the Grand Tours, the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, the Olympic Games, and World Championships across Road, Track, Mountain Bike, Cyclocross and BMX.
Last year’s edition delivered a world‑class sporting spectacle with the victory of Tim Wellens (UAE Team Emirates XRG) and Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx Protime). Also on the start line was Wellens’ teammate, Florian Vermeersch (UAE Team Emirates), who would go on to win the title of gravel UCI World Champion in South Limburg, the Netherlands in October, World Team Time Trial Champion Yves Lampaert (Etixx–Quick-Step) and Olympic Road Race Champion Greg Van Avermaet.
