LUCA STACUL NAMED SPORTS DIRECTOR OF EUROSPORT IN ITALY
Eurosport today announced Luca Stacul as its new Sports Director in Italy.
In Stacul’s role as Sports Director, based in Milan, the Italian native will have responsibility of leading the local content team (digital and linear) and all Italian sports production.
Stacul steps into the role, effectively immediately, after a successful period working in the business’ digital team. Stacul first worked for Eurosport Italy in 2005 before joining on a permanent basis four years later as an editor. He earned a promotion to digital editor in 2013 where he oversaw Eurosport Italy’s digital transformation across its web, app and social platforms.

“With the success of our digital products integral to Eurosport’s future growth, I believe I am in the perfect position to ensure this continues apace. With a huge year of sport ahead – from Grand Slam tennis to winter sports and cycling to Serie A basketball – culminating with the Olympics in Tokyo, it is a hugely exciting time for us and a privilege to be leading the team here in Italy.”

Stacul replaces Luigi Ecuba as Sport Director in Italy and Osmanbegovic added: “I would like to place on record my thanks for Luigi’s work during his time with Eurosport and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
