HBO Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s premier global streaming service, today announces a new and exclusive documentary* titled Paris-Roubaix, Duels in Hell will premiere on the platform across Europe ahead of the race this weekend, alongside a huge array of other non-live cycling content.
Paris-Roubaix, Duels in Hell is 102-minute documentary that tells the storied history of the epic Classics race dubbed the ‘Hell of the North’ while focussing on the era-defining rivalry between two of the sport’s greatest stars – Tadej Pogacar and Mathieu van der Poel – as they prepare to go wheel-to-wheel in Sunday’s race.
After the reigning World Champion Pogacar edged out his Classics rival van der Poel last weekend to equal his record of three Tour of Flanders victories, the all-conquering Slovenian star will again challenge the three-time Paris-Roubaix winner Van der Poel in his bid to make history and complete a clean sweep of cycling’s five Monuments.
The gripping documentary includes expert insights and contributions from Eurosport and TNT Sports cycling reporters Steve Chainel and Hannah Walker. As well as streaming on HBO Max across Europe, it will be available on Eurosport 1 across Europe on Friday 10 April at 13:15 CEST and TNT Sports in the UK and Ireland at 22:00 BST. Live coverage of Paris-Roubaix will stream on HBO Max across Europe from 10:30 CET as well as coverage on Eurosport 1 (Europe) and TNT Sports 1 (UK and Ireland).
