GROUNDBREAKING UCI TRACK CHAMPIONS LEAGUE APP OFFERS GAME-CHANGING EXPERIENCE

Fans can enjoy a unique, immersive experience with access to live rider data via the official UCI Track Champions League App, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

After its successful launch in 2021, the app now includes a brand-new feature this season which allows users to access live, onboard camera feeds for an even more immersive fan experience.

With Round 3 of the 2022 UCI Track Champions League taking place at the Vélodrome National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines on Saturday, fans are being reminded to download the free UCI Track Champions League App on Android and iOS.

Powered by Official Cloud Infrastructure Provider AWS, the app delivers an immersive fan experience, showcasing the riders' profiles and performance data in real-time and providing unique insights.

If all that wasn't enough, after its successful launch in 2021, the app now includes a brand-new feature this season which allows users to access live onboard camera feeds. Fans can follow the riders even closer during the competition and enjoy a deeper, more immersive experience.

Power, speed, heart rate and cadence at the push of a button

With the app’s Race Live Mode, live power, speed, heart rate and cadence data from the riders' performances is accessible at the push of a button. This feature brings fans closer to the action than ever before - the 2,000 watt attacks, the on-the-rivet breakaways at 190bpm, and the 75km/h photo finishes that make track cycling a truly stunning spectacle are all laid bare.

The app’s game-changing features do not stop there. Fans can take an in-depth look at their favourite riders' average and maximum power, speed, heart rate and cadence data via the Riders Focus Mode. Side-by-side comparisons between two different athletes are also available.

Pushing the Feel Heartbeat button, users can feel the live heartbeat of any given athlete at any moment in the palm of their hand using their smartphone’s vibrate function. Be it a nervous 130 beats per minute on the start line or a rapid 200bpm with one lap to go, this unique feature gives viewers unprecedented insight into world class athletes’ performance.

Put statistical knowledge to the test with the UCI Track Champions League Race Predictor

With access to over seven years of historical data from the UCI, AWS experts have used advanced data analytic solutions to offer fans a predicted winner for each race. With the interactive UCI Track Champions League Race Predictor, the app will allow users to test their racing and statistical knowledge, and give them the chance to predict their own winners.

Never miss a moment
Thanks to Official Cloud Infrastructure Provider AWS, the UCI Track Champions League app also acts as a central information hub for the series. Users can view riders’ profiles with key physiological information, league results, standings and palmares's all present. In addition, race results and standings, round info and the latest league news are all also available.

And users can also ensure they never miss a moment of the action courtesy of push notification reminders delivered when their favourite rider is on track, or when a particular race is about to start.

The UCI Track Champions League app is available to download for free on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
