GRAND FINALE OF THE 2024 UCI TRACK CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IN LONDON NOW SOLD OUT

12 September 2024 - Last updated 16 September 2024

Tickets for the remaining rounds in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and Apeldoorn, and for the first night in London, are still available.

The ‘Grand Finale’ of the 2024 UCI Track Champions League - taking place at London's Lee Valley VeloPark on Saturday 7th December - has sold out for the fourth year in a row. Tickets for the fifth and final round went on sale in July and have already been snapped up, meaning 6,000 fans will be cheering on the world’s best riders, including Paris 2024 Olympic champions, as they battle it out for the iconic blue jerseys.

Tickets for Round 4 - which is taking place in the same venue 24 hours before (on Friday 6th December) - are also selling out fast, but they can still be purchased at the time of writing by clicking HERE.

Seats are still available for the opening round in the Vélodrome National of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, Paris (France), on Saturday 23rd November, at the venue which hosted the Paris 2024 track cycling events. Fans can book tickets by clicking HERE. Tickets for Rounds 2 and 3 in Apeldoorn, Netherlands on 29th and 30th November respectively, will be going on sale soon. Fans can register their interest for the event HERE.

Chris Ball, Vice President of Cycling Events at Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, global promoter of the event said: “We are so happy to see another sell-out crowd confirmed for the Grand Finale in London for the fourth year running. Each season, the British fans have lit up the Lee Valley VeloPark, inspiring incredible performances from all the riders, and we can’t wait to experience this again”.

Managing Events Director of British Cycling Events, Jonathan Day, said: “We are delighted to see the return of the UCI Track Champions League to London’s Lee Valley VeloPark, with another sell-out crowd for the Grand Finale. The British fans are some of the best in the world and we cannot wait to welcome spectators and riders to this fantastic event.”

Last season’s Grand Finale saw an incredible night of action as Dutchman Harrie Lavreysen overthrew reigning champion Matthew Richardson (competing for Australia) to win the Men’s Sprint competition, while Canada’s Dylan Bibic claimed the Men’s Endurance title. Katie Archibald (Great Britain) won her second Women’s Endurance title in front of a home crowd while Ellesse Andrews (New Zealand) reigned supreme in the Women’s Sprint.

Since its launch in 2021, the UCI Track Champions League has consolidated its place as one of the ‘Monuments’ of track cycling, sitting alongside the Tissot UCI Track World Championships, the Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup and Olympic Games at the very pinnacle of the global racing calendar.

The series – organised in partnership between the events division of Warner Bros. Discovery Sports and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) – makes track cycling more accessible and exciting than ever before, elevating the sport to new levels and reaching new audiences in the process. As well as captivating thousands of fans inside the velodromes, the exploits of the world’s best riders will once again be beamed across the globe, with discovery+, Max, and Eurosport, and a host of international broadcast partners bringing the sport to countless screens.

Last season over 20,000 fans watched the action in person, with 9.8 million TV viewers tuning in from 107 countries around the globe and millions more fans following the action on the official UCI Track Champions League app and social media channels.
