EVERY MATCH OF WOMEN'S EURO 2017 LIVE ON EUROSPORT

Football fans across Europe will be able to watch more UEFA Women’s European Championship action than ever with EVERY match broadcast LIVE on Eurosport and Eurosport Player.

Kicking off with hosts Netherlands entertaining Norway on Sunday 16 July at 6pm (CEST), the newly-expanded UEFA Women’s European Championship features eight-time winners Germany, Olympic silver medallists Sweden as well as football heavyweights Spain, Italy, France and England. The final to decide Europe’s best team will take place on Sunday 6 August in Enschede (5pm CEST).

In addition to all 31 games from the 16-team tournament screened live*, Eurosport will also have every angle covered with up to 14 cameras on-site for the semi-finals and final and 12 cameras for all other matches – more than Eurosport has ever had for a women’s football match.

Eurosport has a proud heritage showcasing world-class women’s sport via its coverage of tennis, winter sports as well as football. In 2016 alone, Eurosport’s broadcast of the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final between Wolfsburg and Lyon was watched by 1.6m people across the continent.

Former French international Sabrina Delannoy, capped 39 times by her country, will be a commentator for Eurosport France’s coverage of the tournament.

Delannoy said: “The European Championships is one of those major tournaments that every women’s player wants to play in and this year will be no different.

“Having just retired from top-level football myself, I know every single one of the players are excited to representing their country and showcasing women’s football to fans right across Europe. Obviously as winners of the last six tournaments, Germany will be favourites to win but I think this tournament could be set-up for a new team to break through and upset the odds.”

Eurosport CEO Peter Hutton added: “From tennis to winter sports and athletics to swimming, we already broadcast some of the best tournaments and events in the world featuring world-class female athletes on Eurosport.

“We are thrilled to be the only place that fans can watch every minute of every match from the Women’s European Championships live.”

Germany won the UEFA Women’s Euro 2013 after a narrow 1-0 win over Norway in Solna, Sweden.
