EUROSPORT UNVEILS EXCLUSIVE BEHIND THE SCENES DOCUMENTARY ON 'KING OF CLAY' NADAL'S HISTORIC 'LA DECIMA'
Today, Eurosport, in collaboration with the Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT), unveils an exclusive behind the scenes documentary, La Décima - The Story, which follows Rafael Nadal’s journey to his historic tenth victory at Roland Garros, Eurosport’s flagship tennis event.
Nadal gave Eurosport and the FFT unprecedented access at this year’s tournament to get up close and personal as he prepared to cement his place as the greatest clay court player of all time and win his 15th Grand Slam title overall.
La Décima - The Story, which will air on Eurosport TV and digital platforms on Monday at 20:30 CET, includes unique insights into what makes the ‘King of Clay’ tick and exclusive footage of the tennis iconic as he prepared to win his tenth crown at Roland Garros and first Grand Slam title since 2014.
La Décima - The Story gives fans a front row seat into not only how Nadal has reached the pinnacle of the game, but also how he has continued to fuel his passion to compete and win time and time again, despite setbacks along the way. La Décima is synonymous with success in Spain, and this year’s win at Roland Garros is perhaps the greatest achievement in Nadal’s trophy laden career.
Three-time Roland Garros Champion and Eurosport’s lead tennis analyst, Mats Wilander, said: “I said that beating Nadal when he is on form on clay is impossible, and again the Spaniard has proved that.
