EUROSPORT SECURES SKATING RIGHTS TO COMPLEMENT WORLD-CLASS WINTER SPORTS OFFERING
• Deal for the ISU events with Infront sees major figure skating and speed skating events screened across Europe
• Winter sports fans to benefit from live and localised coverage across widest range of events
• Winter is coming with live winter sports to return to Eurosport from October
Eurosport has further expanded its comprehensive winter sports offering for viewers across Europe, securing the rights for the Figure Skating Grand Prix and Championships in addition to Speed Skating and Short Track World Cup and Championships for the next three seasons*.
As part of a long-term agreement running to 2023, the deal with the International Skating Union (ISU) and Infront further strengthens Eurosport’s winter sports offering available across its linear channels and digital products including the Eurosport App and Eurosport.com.
Its unrivalled proposition includes every World Cup and World Championships across the widest selection of major winter sports, providing fans with more than 1,000 hours of live world-class winter sports content covering over 30 international events each year.
The first ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event is set to begin in October in Las Vegas with the World Figure Skating Championships taking place from 22-28 March in Stockholm. The World Short Track Speed Skating Championships are scheduled for 12-14 March 2021 in Rotterdam. For a full list of ISU events, go to https://isu.org/events
