BORIS BECKER, EUROSPORT TENNIS EXPERT
Boris Becker was one of the most accomplished players of his time, winning six major singles titles, five year-end championships, 13 Masters Series titles and an Olympic gold medal in doubles during a stellar 15-year career.
One of the games' most recognisable figures, Becker is the face of Eurosport Germany’s award-winning tennis coverage having joined the network in 2016. For Eurosport's Grand Slam coverage, Boris introduces the daily coverage, provides commentary on the biggest matches and has his own end-of-play show each day: 'Matchball Becker'.
In addition, Boris appears regularly on Eurosport International's flagship daily show, Game, Schett & Mats, plus it's Tennis Legends Vodast series alongside Mats Wilander and appears in his own German language vodcast series - ‘Aufschlag Becker’.
Prior to working with Eurosport, Boris most-notably coached Novak Djokovic for three years with huge success winning six Grand Slams and Djokovic held all four major titles at the same time when he won Roland-Garros in 2016.
Alogside his role with Eurosport, Boris maintains close links to professional tennis in his role as Head of Men’s Tennis at the German Tennis Association (DTB).
