TNT SPORTS BECOMES THE NEW HOME OF BIKES IN THE UK AND IRELAND

21 February 2025

  • TNT Sports and discovery+ will broadcast every round of MotoGP™, FIM Superbike World Championship, FIM Speedway Grand Prix, FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship and Bennetts British Superbikes from 2025
  • Plus, live season-long action of ROWE Motor Oil British Premiership Speedway and FIM Endurance World Championship
  • TNT Sports Bikes – The new ultimate social destination for motorbikes fans

The very best in two-wheel motorsport will have a new home from the 2025 season as TNT Sports becomes the go-to destination for world-class motorbikes coverage in the UK and Ireland.

Coverage includes every round of MotoGP™, FIM Superbike World Championship, FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, Bennetts British Superbikes, FIM Speedway GP and British Premiership Speedway.

Live coverage of every series will continue to be available to stream live in full via TNT Sports’ streaming platform discovery+ - as it has for the past two seasons.

Scott Young, Group SVP, Content, Production and Business Operations, WBD Sports Europe said:

“To bring such substantial fandom into one place is hugely exciting and we’re immensely proud to be the new Home of Bikes in the UK and Ireland.

“With all two-wheel motorsport under one single brand it allows us to grow and drive a dedicated bikes community and establish TNT Sports as the go-to destination for the best motorbikes coverage across all platforms.

“The new TNT Sports Bikes social profile will be the ultimate storytelling platform for every round from every championship with engaging content to keep fans captivated throughout the season. Supported by a strong offer across our free-to-air network, we believe we’ve created a complete fan-first eco-system.

“We see the global profile and breadth of our motorbikes content portfolio as a pivotal element in accelerating our premium sport streaming proposition.”

To broaden reach and to maximise accessibility, more top tier coverage will be made available free-to-air for 2025. The final MotoGP™ race days from rounds in Qatar (11-13 April) and Silverstone (23-25 May) will be broadcast live free-to-air on Quest, as well as the Sprint Races from every round broadcast in full on a short same day delay. There will also be new highlights show every Monday after each race weekend.

The concluding race days from four rounds of the Bennetts British Superbikes will also be broadcast live on Quest, including Oulton Park (Round 1) Thruxton (Round 6), Donington Park GP (Round 8) and Oulton Park (Round 10). discovery+ will continue to offer innovative features to deliver a true fan-first broadcast. Coverage of all three MotoGP™ classes will include Timeline Marker functionality, enabling fans to seamlessly transition between key race moments to re-live the action again and again.

Live World Superbikes action on discovery+ will offer an additional live uninterrupted ad-free stream, allowing fans to benefit from more analysis and features, ensuring a comprehensive non-stop live broadcast.

TNT SPORTS BIKES - THE NEW PREMIUM DIGITAL DESTINATION

TNT Sports’ newly launched social profile, TNT Sports Bikes, consolidates all two-wheel series under one single digital destination, across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X. For the first time, the FIM Superbike World Championship, Bennetts British Superbikes, FIM Speedway GP and British Premiership Speedway content will be housed in a dedicated motorbikes social profile. This will deliver a content-rich channel for a best-in-class fan experience, including near-live race clips, engaging video formats, interviews and breaking news. Every twist and turn will be covered to super-serve the most dedicated fans and attract new audiences.

A SEASON FIRST FOR SPEEDWAY GP WITH LAUNCH OF NEW UK ROUND

For the first time ever, the 2025 FIM Speedway GP calendar will feature two UK rounds. Britain’s National Speedway Stadium in Manchester will host an exciting double header midway through the season. Rounds five and six will take place on consecutive days on June 13/14, delivering a feast of premium Grand Prix action across the weekend at a pivotal point in the season. Full coverage will be live across TNT Sports and streamed on discovery+, with TNTSports.co.uk and TNT Sports Bikes delivering a comprehensive digital experience across web and social.

Last month, it was announced the integration of the full line-up of Eurosport live and non-live content to TNT Sports channels and platforms in the UK and Ireland from 28 February.

This now creates a single destination for an incredible line-up of live sport that will bring all motorsport action together alongside Premier League and UEFA European club football, Olympic Games 2026-2032, Premiership men’s and women’s rugby, international cricket, UFC, boxing, tennis Grand Slams, Grand Tour cycling and every major winter sports World Championship and World Cup event - all available on TNT Sports and its streaming home, discovery+.
